The iPhone 4 has recently been launched in the market and people are just dying to get their hands on it. One dilemma they are experiencing before making a purchase is the network package they should choose.
Which network is going to offer the best plan and has the best quality of the network are some questions clouding their mind after angry O2 customers reported glitches with the iPhone 4 Ariel and data settings.
For the past three years, O2 has been consecutively winning the best network awards. At the Mobile Choice Awards, O2 won the Best Network award (2010) which is voted for by the readers of the magazine and website. O2 has to be one of the top 3 mobile provider networks in the United Kingdom.
O2 provide a variety of plans and deals which are being offered along with iPhone 4 on pay monthly contract.
Two types of purchase plans for iPhone on O2 are available for the pay as you go and the contract pay monthly installments for network and other services. You can either choose an eighteen month installment plan or a twenty four month plan. You are restricted to the usage specified by the plan, however you shop online for ‘Bolt ons’ to increase your Internet data limits. O2's iPhones include Visual Voicemail, up to 1GB of UK data and Wi-Fi.
In the twenty four month category, the installments start from £30 and go up to £75 monthly. The down payment (i.e. shown as the handset cost on iPhoneprices.co.uk) on a £30 plan is £169 for 16GB and £269 for 32GB iPhone 4. As the installment rate increases, the down payment keeps on decreasing. If you take the £75 per month installment plan, you can get an iPhone 4 16GB for free with no down payment at all.

Tariffs
O2 tariffs are in line with others, however they lack incentives offered by Orange, T-Mobile, 3 Mobile and Vodafone.
As per usual MMS is not part of O2 contract pay monthly plans. Each costs 25p per picture message or buy an O2 bolt on for £3.99 for 16 MMS, which costs 24.9375 per message.
